Assist with the maintenance and restoration of our historic trolley fleet! The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is home to nearly 50 trolley cars, and our collection continues to grow. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers of any skill level to help restore our trolleys to their historic beauty and function.
Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum's Education Department trains volunteer docents to lead public museum tours, school field trips, and 2-hour group programs that include behind-the-scenes artifact presentations. The military museum also welcomes event-support volunteers for memorial services and ceremonies.
Conservatory docents lead guided tours for all ages and may be asked to emphasize certain areas of Phipps, such as Butterfly Forest or Tropical Forest. These volunteers may also take 3-hour stationed docent shifts to greet and engage guests, answer questions and point out special features.
