Each semester, we recruit an Education Outreach intern to assist our Education Outreach Coordinator with the Japan in the Schools program and the High School Japanese Speech Contest.
As an intern, you will play an active role in the support of our various programs, present research to the Executive Director, and help with daily office tasks.
Volunteers are needed to tutor citizens returning home from jail and prison next semester. The times of tutoring will be individualized to fit tutor and student schedules.

Volunteers are needed to help tutor at the Community Intensive Supervision Program (CISP) in both their Penn Hills and Wilkinsburg location. You will have the opportunity to work with youth who have been impacted by the justice system, helping them with their homework assignments and encouraging their academic progress.
We are looking for tutors to assist with GED prep, Language Learning (a combination of ESOL and literacy), and peer literacy tutoring.
Tutors willing to commute is essential, as the facilities are a distance from the city of Pittsburgh.
