Amedisys Hospice is looking for volunteers to create Memory Bears -handmade teddy bears (or pillows) sewn from clothing of loved ones who have passed away. These keepsake bears bring comfort and healing to grieving families by preserving a tangible connection to their loved ones.
We are in need of volunteers that are willing to visit with a hospice patient residing in their home. Volunteer visits would provide companionship and socialization to the patient. Volunteers are welcome to assist with light household chores and errands as needed. Schedule can be flexible and no set hours required.
