Are you curious about the world - and how to connect better with the people in it?

Whether you’re an experienced communicator or just starting to explore what it means to truly connect, Acquaint offers a space to grow. As a Human Connection Volunteer , you’ll join 45-60 minute one-on-one conversations with fellow volunteers from around the world. No mentoring, no teaching - just mutual practice in curiosity, listening, and sharing.

You’ll choose your own conversation prompts and availability each week. We handle the matching - you focus on showing up with an open mind.

What You’ll Do:

  • Join guided 1-on-1 virtual conversations with global peers
  • Choose from a wide selection of prompts and icebreakers
  • Practice listening, sharing, and cross-cultural understanding

What You’ll Gain:

  • Stronger communication and connection skills
  • Confidence connecting with anyone, anywhere
  • Milestone badges, certificates, and optional training courses

What You Need:

  • Conversational English
  • Internet access and basic computer skills
  • Age 15+ (under 18 requires guardian consent)

Time Commitment:

1 hour/week recommended. Fully flexible schedule - Acquaint hours vary by day/week but generally open from 5:00 AM-10:00 PM Pacific.

Be a Homework Helper for Elementary Students!

Our organization seeks to serve the kids of Crafton Heights and surrounding communities. One way to do that is by providing a safe space for completing homework! The "Homework Help" After School Program is open to kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are looking for volunteers to be the "Help" for the students we see!
