Girls Rugby Inc. Pittsburgh

At the heart of Girls Rugby are our amazing volunteers whose commitment and passion changes the lives of hundreds of children each year. Our volunteers serve as coaches, referees, mentors, and role models who share the Girls Rugby mission of empowering participants to reach their potential through sport. No rugby experience is needed to volunteer for Girls Rugby – we give you all the resources and support you need! We would love to have you join our family - what are you waiting for?

There are a number of ways to get involved with Girls Rugby as a volunteer. Many of our volunteers coach and referee in our programs, which delivers the biggest impact for young children in the community. Girls Rugby volunteers are on the front line, delivering our values-based curriculum and facilitating positive environments for athletes to develop on and off the rugby field. By becoming a Girls Rugby Volunteer you not only will be inspiring the next generation of rugby players in America, you will be mentoring young children who will go on to become better contributing members of their societies.

Girls Rugby volunteers are required to complete a number of certifications in order to coach with Girls Rugby. The cost of these trainings is covered by Girls Rugby. Volunteers are provided with a Girls Rugby uniform and full curriculum and resources.
