Glade Run Adventures is an innovative therapeutic equine, animal and horticulture program. Volunteers are needed to assist with therapeutic riding and equine activities, feeding and turnout for the horses and large animals, weeding, mulching and watering in the gardens and greenhouse, assisting with summer camp, and more.
Our volunteers are called "Garden Keepers" and express an interest and enthusiasm for gardening, enjoy being outdoors and getting their hands dirty, and have the ability to differentiate, or willingness to learn, a plant from a weed. Support is needed to help with the beautification and upkeep of the healing gardens at the Hope Grows Iris Respite House.
