Join us for our final monthly Open Volunteer Saturday at Hilltop Urban Farm of the season! These morning workdays are a hands-on way to support local food access and community growing in the Hilltop neighborhoods.
For our final workday, volunteers will help us put the farm to bed for the winter and support our Farmer Incubator Program farmers as they wind down their growing season. Projects may include pulling finished crops for compost, seeding cover crops to protect and build the soil over winter, helping with final harvests, clearing and preparing growing spaces, and other end-of-season farm tasks.
No experience required — just closed-toe shoes and clothes you can get dirty. We provide the tools and training! Gatorade and light snacks are provided.
