Garden Volunteers Needed

Our volunteers are called "Garden Keepers" and express an interest and enthusiasm for gardening, enjoy being outdoors and getting their hands dirty, and have the ability to differentiate, or willingness to learn, a plant from a weed. Support is needed to help with the beautification and upkeep of the healing gardens at the Hope Grows Iris Respite House. Some tasks include watering the grounds, weeding, digging in the garden beds, harvesting and removal of plant material, and mulching. Volunteers are guided by our horticulturist and opportunities include ongoing and/or one time garden tasks. Background check.

  • Enjoy working outside
  • Communicate professionally with staff and guests
  • Willingness to complete application process, provide references and background checks
