Volunteer tax preparers and greeters are needed! No previous experience required. Training is provided.
Pittsburgh Community Services, Inc. (PCSI) is partnering with the Free Tax Prep Coalition to offer free tax prep services to low income families and individuals.
Preparers
- Complete federal, state, and/or local returns
Greeters
- Welcome taxpayers to the site
- Ensure taxpayers have necessary matierals (tax forms, IDs, etc.)
- Complete intake paperwork
PCSI will have 2 volunteer shifts,2 - 5 PM and 5 - 8 PM on Monday and Thursday. Shifts will begin on January 25th and end on April 15th. Volunteers are expected to pick up at least one shift per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to boost your resume, learn a new skill, and support your local community.
