The chiral-induced spin selectivity (CISS) effect is a groundbreaking discovery that has had significant impact across physics, chemistry, materials science, and biology. It offers new insight into how molecular chirality gives rise to novel physical properties, with the potential to transform a wide range of technologies and applications. This symposium will bring together leading experts in CISS for a focused two-day event that emphasizes the impact and potential application of CISS in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. In addition to premier talks, designated time will be allotted for a poster session as well as a panel featuring leading scientists and program managers from federal funding agencies to discuss future research opportunities in CISS and spin-mediated research.
