Aging Institute Seminar Series - Dr. Amy Walker
Ends:
Aging Institute
TBD
We’re excited to announce that the next Aging Institute Seminar will take place Thursday, October 8, 2026, featuring Amy Walker, PhD — Professor of Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
This will be a hybrid seminar, and Dr. Walker will be joining us in person at the Aging Institute (100 Technology Drive, 5th Floor Conference Room).
She’ll be presenting “Cracking the SAM Code: Impacts of methylation on aging and stress" and we look forward to hearing about her fascinating research. The Walker Lab has labs working on metabolism, structural biology, virology, neurobiology and development on organisms from yeast to humans. They study how changing the level of the metabolite S-adenosylmethionine alters methylation patterns changing stress-responses, aging and lipid accumulation
For additional information regarding Dr. Walker and her research, please visit her lab page at: https://amywalkerlab.com/index.html
