Active Perception in AR Displays Trainee lunch and careers-in-industry discussion afterward How should AR glasses work with a visual system that is constantly moving and making predictions? Scott will discuss how eye and head movements shape display design, from legibility and brightness to depth conflicts, flicker, and other visual artifacts. He’ll also cover how researchers simulate and test the visual experience before the hardware exists. In-person space is limited. Submitting an RSVP does not guarantee a seat. Scott is visiting Pittsburgh as Kendra Noneman’s external committee member. Come hear about his work and bring your questions about research beyond academia!
