Carlow’s 97th birthday isn’t just a milestone — it’s a living story. From seven Sisters of Mercy who sailed from Carlow, Ireland in 1843 to the founding of Mount Mercy College on September 24, 1929, to today’s Carlow University, our Mercy mission has shaped generations of changemakers. This celebration honors that heritage and invites every Celtic — past and present — to carry it forward.
