HAIL Graduate Student Awardee Program

The HAIL Graduate Student Awardee Program brings together an interdisciplinary cohort of University of Pittsburgh master’s and doctoral students to explore responsible data and AI practices across academic disciplines and professions. Through readings, discussions, guest speakers, and independent exploration, participants examine principles such as transparency, privacy, accountability, reproducibility, sustainability, and community engagement. Students identify opportunities to apply these principles within their own work and collaborate on a white paper reflecting insights from the interdisciplinary learning experience.
