Chalk Talk with MiNT Teaching Faculty Candidate Grace Steward

About Grace Steward Grace Steward, PhD, is a Senior Research Data Analyst at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she mentors students and develops technologies to support clinical and translational studies of delirium, including machine learning approaches for automated delirium detection, and the development of a wireless, single channel EEG wearable device for inpatient monitoring. She earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Neuroengineering. Her teaching experience spans hands-on laboratory instruction, individualized tutoring, and research mentorship, working with trainees ranging from high-school students to PhD candidates. Her interests include developing compelling experiential learning opportunities to prepare students to succeed in self-directed technical work.
