Organizing university The American University in Cairo Event description Over the past four years, AI tools have affected nearly every facet of our lives, and education has been particularly impacted. Many traditional assessments have become more difficult to interpret, raising questions about what students know and how they approach their work, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this session, Christopher Ostro will describe how his courses have adapted to the emergence of AI tools, culminating in the development of the new Writing in the Age of AI course he teaches at CU. Participants will gain a better understanding of the practical decisions involved in adapting classroom teaching and assessment to AI and will leave with resources to explore further. Speaker: Christopher Ostro Participants It is only open to Afretec members
