Brooke Belaire Live! (what genre is this?)

Debut live performance from Brooke Belaire at the Poetry Lounge in Pittsburgh. $5 cover, doors open at 7! Blending the intimacy of whispered pop with deep-house bass, slow-trance rhythms, country textures, cinematic strings and unexpected banjo, Brooke has created a seductive sonic language that refuses to fit neatly into any one genre. Dark &, feminine, her music feels like a private obsession played through club speakers: atmospheric enough to disappear into, but heavy enough to feel in your body.
