Roots & Routes: Food Maker and Buyer Symposium

Join CRAFT at Chatham University for a day of learning and connecting with growers, producers, buyers and the people that support them. This event aims to bridge the gap between small to mid-scale buyers, food product makers, and technical assistance providers to make connections, forge relationships, and find the best ways to work together to strengthen our regional food economy. Event Highlights Workshop sessions featuring experts ready to help you expand your business, whether a buyer or seller.Ample time to meet with service providers and organizations that can help your business succeed.Lunch featuring locally sourced products and a sample table highlighting local businesses from across the region who are ready to sell their products to new audiences. Happy hour and pizza party at the outdoor Eden Hall Bread Oven to deepen connections and celebrate our work. This event is for food business owners, farmers, small to mid-sized food buyers, and the organizations that support them. Expect a day of learning, resource sharing, making connections, and finding meaningful ways to promote regionally made products.
