Distinguished Alumni Talk: Jen-Chieh Peng

I came to Pitt in 1971 as a graduate student of Prof. James Maher studying experimental nuclear physics. Following a two-year postdoc position in France, I spent 23 years as a researcher at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. I then took a faculty position at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. In this talk, I wish to share my memories as a student at Pitt, and as a researcher and teacher in physics during the past 55 years. This talk Is dedicated to the memory of the late Prof. James Maher.
