Hidden Hearing Loss and Why Audibility Isn’t Always Enough Samantha Hauser, AuD, PhD, CCC-A This course will review how hearing ability is currently assessed in the audiology clinic with a focus on what aspects of hearing are captured by traditional tests and what is missing. Potential hearing problems that patients may have beyond what is explained by their hearing test and recommendations for SLPs interacting with these patients are described.
