OLLI at Pitt Monthly Music Series

This fall, OLLI together with Opus: Impact present this Monthly Musical Series, pairing live performance with insightful commentary and giving community members a chance to explore different corners of the musical world in one of Pittsburgh's most storied cultural spaces, the New Granada, and home to Pitt's CEC in the Hill District. This Fall's Lineup: September 11 — Sydney Kaczorowski and Fabio Gentili present a lecture on bel canto Italian art songs from the 19th century October 2 — Fabio Machado and Amin Carillo explore chamber music for cello and piano across various styles November 6 — Emmanuel Berrido compares and contrasts Hispanic Caribbean folk and pop music across the region's countries December 4 — Dr. James Gourlay explores composition for brass instruments Space is limited.
