María José Zubieta at FILNYC 2026

Elisa Carolina Martínez Salazar. Leitmotivs (2024). Santa Rabia Poetry. Ana Paula Martínez Garrigos. Daughters of Corn. Moderator: María José Zubieta Like waves, uprooting doesn’t break just once: it comes and goes, and with each return, the land and the body are reimagined in a new way. With landscape as their key, these two books are rooted in the earth to explore relationships, legacies, and the desire for movement, from the Caribbean to Mesoamerican corn. Zubieta will also be selling copies of her translation of Idea Vilariño’s No at the fair.
