Networking Workshop

You must build and utilize your network and connections in order to generate as many opportunities as possible. We will discuss the best strategies on how to best leverage your network, and how to translate your connections into meaningful professional leads. Pre-Read: Using “Weak” Ties to Aid Your Job Hunt CMIST offers professional development workshops to its students to help them develop a professional portfolio and be competitive for internships and positions post-graduation. Professor Haleigh Bartos leads each workshop. All workshops will be held on Fridays from 12-1:20PM and will provide lunch. Sessions are required for MS STAIR students. For undergraduate students to be eligible for individual professional development preparation sessions with Professor Bartos, they must attend a minimum of two workshops. Students must be a declared major or minor in CMIST or be a first-year student intending to declare a major or minor in CMIST.
