The Whiskey Smash

This annual celebration of Pennsylvania rye whiskey welcomes distilleries from across the state to historic West Overton Village!17 Pennsylvania distilleries will be set up on two floors of the Museum (the former 1859 distillery building) providing samples, sharing knowledge about their brands, and selling products. Additionally, samples of Overholt™ will be available in the Overholt Stateroom.Along with the whiskey, enjoy a meal from Mission BBQ, bespoke chocolates from Scottdale Chocolate Company, and our signature Whiskey Smash cocktail. Dinner, chocolates, and cocktails will all be located in the Overholt Room, the lower level of the Museum.VIP Admissions also receive an early VIP hour from 5 - 6 p.m., which includes an exclusive Overholt™ personalized limited release sampling with one of three educators available only during the VIP hour in the Stateroom. Additionally, VIPs can enjoy a VIP Curated Cocktail during the VIP hour along with the Whiskey Smash Cocktail downstairs in the Overholt Room. Explore the James B. Overholt™ is recognized by whiskey historians as the longest standing American whiskey brand with an unbroken chain of ownership, production and sale since Abraham Overholt began distilling at West Overton in 1810.
