Fall 2026 Safety Symposium

Ends:
TBD
The Fall 2026 Safety Symposium is a collaborative event hosted by the Student Government Board (SGB), Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), and Pitt Police to educate students, staff, and faculty about safety resources and healthy habits at Pitt. Meet various student groups, university departments, and local Pittsburgh organizations who will provide self-defense tips, public transportation guidelines, healthy nutritional habits, and environmental practices—you can even practice extinguishing a real fire at the EH&S Fire Safety Demonstrations and earn a free t-shirt! The Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection HUB@ University Pharmacy will be offering flu vaccines for Pitt students and employees. Join us on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the William Pitt Union Gallagher Plaza, Lawns, and Lower Lounge. In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be moved to the William Pitt Union Assembly Room. No registration is required, and free food will be provided for attendees. If you have questions, please contact Officer Heather Walker at hlc33@pitt.edu.
