10+ farms to visit this fall, from Soergel Orchards to Braddock Farms

Tucked beside Interstate 79’s northbound Wexford exit is the cause of many autumnal traffic jams: Soergel Orchards. In mid-September — Sept. 19 this year, to be exact — Soergel Orchards will open its doors for the annual, six-week Fall Fest through Nov. 1. Tractors take patrons into the orchards to pick their own pumpkins and apples, and staples like roasted corn and apple cider draw crowds to the barn area.
