*This class runs 9/28 through 11/9. No class on 10/19. This class is for those who are new to or have minimal experience with the upright bass and want to learn the skills needed to provide the solid foundation needed for bluegrass ensembles. We will cover tuning, the importance of rhythm (and how to develop it), left and right-hand techniques, and patterns for basic bluegrass keys. No experience necessary – just a willingness to learn and an upright bass.
