EMBRACE Seminar: Exploring Effects of Extreme Weather on Pregnancy Outcomes

Ends:
622 N. Homewood Avenue
TBD
Presented by Ashley Hill, DrPH, MPH. Pregnant people are especially vulnerable during climate and extreme weather-related disasters, with evidence showing increased risk of adverse perinatal outcomes. Given the expected increase in extreme weather events, it is vitally important to understand how they impact the health of vulnerable populations and develop appropriate strategies to improve effective emergency preparedness and response plans. This presentation will explore the impacts of flooding due to extreme weather events and influence on pregnancy and infant outcomes. If attending in person, visit https://tinyurl.com/EMBRACESeminar to register with food and disability accomodations and email Kyle Ross with questions.
