A Conversation about Designing the World History Experience (Hybrid Event)

Join Shane Carter (ORIAS, UC Berkeley) for a discussion with professor Molly Warsh (History) about her experience working with faculty teaching World History. History for the 21st Century (H/21) creates free teaching materials for world history survey courses. The authors of those materials work closely with a partner at H/21 as they translate their research into interactive classroom experiences for students. Shane Carter has partnered with multiple authors in this process, while Molly Warsh has authored an H/21 module. This conversation will explore insights from this experience of collaboration, including ways faculty can be effective partners to one another in developing their teaching practice.
