Lydia Maes

DOORS: 7:00 PM SHOW: 8:00 PM ALL AGES SHOW In her own orchestral, cinematic version of indie-folk, the Nashville-based, multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter/producer has hand-sculpted her debut album ‘Willow’. Born in Minnesota to a musical family, Maes found her footing in classical and jazz ensembles, playing violin, saxophone and piano. Over the course of a year and some change, Maes and producer, Jack Kathriner, arranged and co-produced her album - sparing no intentionality when it came to the finer details. Willow was tracked live with a handpicked full band of local players, led by Maes playing the violin, guitar, and saxophone. Distilling her life experiences up until now into twelve tracks, Willow is lyrically vulnerable and explorative in sound.
