Emily Anderson is a yoga therapist and founder of Pittsburgh Fatties, a fat-positive mutual aid group. In this talk, she will discuss fat activism, weight stigma, accessibility, and community care, drawing on her work providing accessible somatic practices for marginalized communities that are often overlooked and underserved in traditional health and wellness spaces. The talk will explore how community-based approaches can challenge weight stigma and help create more inclusive and accessible spaces for people of all body sizes. Any questions?
