Pittsburgh Chess Week | Chess in Downtown, Pittsburgh Celebration

In Partnership with Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership & Pittsburgh Parks Chess in Mellon Square will invite families, young people, experienced players, and beginners to enjoy an afternoon of casual chess and community connection. Queens Gambit instructors and youth leaders will be available to teach the basics, facilitate games, and help participants find opponents. Attendees may stop by for a single game, stay for open play, or learn chess for the first time in a welcoming outdoor setting.
