Artimus Pyle Band

The Artimus Pyle Band is led by Artimus Pyle, the celebrated drummer whose powerful double-bass playing helped define Lynyrd Skynyrd’s classic Southern rock sound. Pyle performed with Lynyrd Skynyrd during the band’s landmark 1970s era and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the group in 2006. The band honors that legacy with performances of recognizable Skynyrd favorites including “Free Bird,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Saturday Night Special,” along with selections from its 2024 album, Anthems: Honoring the Music of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
