IPA and Correlation Engine - A Comprehensive Approach to Pathway Enrichment Analysis

Ends:
TBD
In this engaging workshop, you will learn how to analyze differentially expressed genes (DEG) associated with genome-scale experiments, such as RNA-Seq gene expression studies, and gain mechanistic insights using Ingenuity Pathway Analysis and Correlation Engine software. Upon completing this class, you should be able to: Retrieve a list of DEGs associated with genome-scale experiments (e.g., "treatment vs. control," "tumor vs. normal," or "infected vs. mock") by searching gene expression data repositories (NCBI GEO)Gain mechanistic insights by identifying statistically overrepresented terms (biological functions, molecular processes, diseases, etc.) and pathways present in the DEG listPredict upstream causal regulators (transcription factors, miRNA, etc.)Retrieve datasets from GEO that exhibit similar or opposite gene expression profilesDate: October 6, 2026 Time: 1:00pm to 4:00pm Mode: Zoom Location: synchronous online Instructor: Ansuman Chattopadhyay, Srilakshmi Chaparala Register for this class
