IRB Individual Investigator Agreements
Ends:
TBD
Would you like to collaborate with a non-Pitt/UPMC investigator who isn’t affiliated with an IRB of their own, such as a community liaison, private practice physician, or independent consultant, but don’t know how to get them the IRB coverage they need? An Individual Investigator Agreement (IIA) may be the solution. Join us to learn more about IIAs – a type of agreement that allows Pitt to extend its IRB coverage to external study team members so they can begin contributing to your human subject research study. This virtual presentation will help you answer the following:
• How do I know when an external collaborator needs IRB coverage?
• When is an IIA appropriate?
• How do I request an IIA?
• What training is required?
• How do I add an IIA-covered collaborator to my PittPRO application?
Registration for this virtual session is required.
If you have questions about this session, please email irb.reliance@pitt.edu.
