Jody Nardone Trio

Pianist Jody Nardone brings a distinctive range to the trio format, pairing lyrical jazz playing with forceful, percussive improvisation. He is also a member of the Crimson Jazz Trio, which recast King Crimson’s progressive-rock catalog as jazz; its recordings include The King Crimson Songbook, Volume One. Nardone’s own trio, formed with bassist Jerry Navarro and drummer Derrek Phillips, released Lights Will Guide You Home. His recording credits also include work with Brian Setzer and the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
