Chamber music concert

NEW KENSINGTON Astralis Chamber Ensemble will present a chamber music concert entitled "Discoveries," Friday, September 18th, 7:00 pm, in Mount St. Peter Church (100 Freeport Rd., New Kensington, PA 15068). The program will introduce the audience to lesser-known works by Beethoven, Clementi, a magnificent trio by Moszkowski, and two works by female composers, Mel Bonis and Cecile Chaminade. Angela Massey, flute, will be joined by Seeun Baek, violin, and Ksenia Kurenysheva, piano. Astralis' concerts have been described as "scary good" and "truly riveting." Free-will donations collected will benefit the organ repair/upgrade project at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, New Kensington.
