The Bacarrudas

Mom's Basement Fest returns to the Westside Bowl! The Bacarrudas are a 1960's style frat-rock band from Philadelphia. It took at least 3 summer pool parties and spinning a lot of classic soul jammer 45s to get the idea of the Bacarrudas off the ground, but it was worth it! Raised on novelty songs and a lot of Wooly Bully, ex-Dirt Bike Annie founder, Adam Rabuck, started writing proto-punk tunes to hopefully get the world dancing and put it in a slightly better mood. Once he teamed up with long-time friends (members of An Albatross, The Impulse International, and The Captain Action), the group gelled and were playing house parties and porch-fests in no time. The 'Rrudas released their first full length, Pool Party, on Mom's Basement Records in the spring of 2024 and the world hasn't been the same since!
