Stryper

Stryper is a pioneering Christian hard rock band known for its distinctive “heavenly metal” style, yellow-and-black visual identity, tight vocal harmonies, melodic guitar work and faith-centered lyrics. Formed in Southern California in 1983, the group broke into the mainstream with the multiplatinum 1986 album To Hell with the Devil. Its best-known songs include “Calling on You,” “Honestly” and “Always There for You,” while the band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Stryper’s current lineup features founding members Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet and Oz Fox, alongside bassist Perry Richardson.
