Departmental Seminar: Daniel Conway

Guest Speaker: Dr. Daniel Conway Professor, Biomedical Engineering Ohio State University Title: “Biophysical regulation of epithelial cell homeostasis” Dr. Conway’s research combines innovative fluorescence-based imaging and biosensor development to investigate how mechanical forces shape cell and tissue behavior. His group studies how cells sense, transmit, and respond to forces across cellular structures, with particular emphasis on cell–cell junctions, the nuclear LINC complex, and the nuclear lamina.
