August 29, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. | William Pitt Union Ballroom Building Bridges brings together University and community partners and friends for light bites, learning, and networking to celebrate the new academic year and a new year of programming for the Gismondi Neighborhood Education Program (GNEP)! GNEP tutors past, present, and future, as well as Pitt colleagues, programming partners, community collaborators, school leaders, and friends are all invited to attend. Join us in building bridges to ensure exceptional educational experiences for our Pitt students and the youth they serve. RSVP by Aug. 19 for Building Bridges About the Gismondi Neighborhood Education Program The Gismondi Neighborhood Education Program, made possible by a generous gift from The Gismondi Foundation, is a collection of education programs and services provided to students across the Homewood, Hill District, Greater Hazelwood, and Oakland neighborhoods. From learning how to build roller coasters to exploring how plants grow, each neighborhood’s program has unique features that are based on community and University collaboration.
