Community Class: Handbuilding and Surface Design

Beginner-No Experience Tuition includes one 25 lbs. bag of clay In this 4-session class, we will be exploring the relationship between form and surface design through hand-built ceramics. Beginner students will be introduced to basic techniques for hand-building and decorating plates and mugs, while returning students will be encouraged to incorporate new surface techniques into their work. Students will leave class with several finished pieces and an understanding of basic ceramic building and decorating processes. *Class meets on Wednesday evenings in September, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Open studio hours will begin AFTER the first session on September 2, and are then held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Schedule From: Sep 2 2026 to Sep 23 2026 Every Wednesday: 6:00pm to 8:30pm
