Civic Action Week: 2026 City of Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics Volunteer Event

Volunteers will be competing in the Garbage Olympics to clean up trash across the City of Pittsburgh. Pitt has joined the challenge and registered for four neighborhood teams: North Oakland, South Oakland, Central Oakland, and West Oakland. Pitt students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are welcome and encouraged to help us beautify the neighborhood and show our Oakland pride! Pitt students, staff, and faculty that wish to sign up for to compete on an Oakland neighborhood team should visit their preferred neighborhood Volunteer Portal links
