In the Heights

This production brings Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical to Pittsburg, Kansas, as part of Pittsburg State University’s Hispanic Music Festival—a campus and community celebration of Hispanic musical traditions. Directed by Breana Clark with music direction by Isaac Hernandez, it features local performers in the story of Washington Heights neighbors whose ambitions, relationships, and shared roots shape their close-knit community. Hip-hop and Latin musical influences drive a tale of family, belonging, and the meaning of home.
