Phelocipastor

Join Nowhere Wolves, Phelocipastor, and Two Wolf Moon for an ear buttering session. Phelocipastor was formed in January of 2024 by bassist/vocalist Jack Boyce. The band was born out of a desire for Boyce to have his own project after spending many years playing for others. After a revolving door of guitarists, Boyce reunited with his friend from college Justin Holbert to fill the roll. The two quickly became the masterminds of the band, culminating in their debut album Phelocipastor FM. The album combines Boyce's heavy, groovy, and melodic bass lines with Holberts bluesy, classic rock style guitar, with gritty and resonant vocals. The result is something akin to stoner rock and post grunge. After the departure of founding member and drummer Hank Hall in early 2026, the band played with drummers Charles Powell and Tanner Hamric before formally recruiting Holt Thomas. The trio has now established themselves as a staple of the West Virginia rock scene and is actively seeking new horizons, aiming to expand to the regional level. Phelocipastor is on a mission to butter everyone's ears, yours included. Come to a show, or suffer the consequences of having sad, dry, and unbuttered ears.
