Ends:
Mellon Institute 328 Social Room
Free
Join Paul Middlebrooks, invited speakers Louie Favela and Luiz Pessoa, and local panelists for an afternoon spanning neuroscience, computer science, and philosophy. Two talks and a panel will ask whether the ways living systems regulate themselves, coordinate their parts, and maintain stability can help us understand brains beyond the computer metaphor. Lunch is included.
