Supervisory Special Agent Patrick Myers has been with the FBI since 2015. He is currently assigned to the FBI’s Pittsburgh Division, where he supervises a National Security Cyber squad focusing on state-sponsored cyber actors. As a special agent, SSA Myers has conducted investigations into hackers with Russia’s Military Intelligence, the GRU. SSA Myers’ work has led him to participate in investigations and in the defense of computer systems, including election networks worldwide, the Olympic Games, and U.S. critical infrastructure. SSA Myers is a member of the FBI’s Cyber Action Team (CAT), the FBI Cyber Division’s rapid response force, on call to deploy globally to bring in-depth cyber intrusion expertise and specialized investigative skills to bear in response to significant cyber events.
