Sandwich Blessings

Our Sandwich Blessing program welcomes groups to prepare a sandwich meal offsite and drop it of at St. Joseph House of Hospitality. Sandwich drop-offs are Saturday before 3pm and Sunday morning before 12pm. Sandwich meals need to be prepared in an approved commercial kitchen, and each meal should be wrapped in its own brown bag.

Hot Meal Saturdays

Our Hot Meal program welcomes groups to prepare a hot dinner offsite and drop it off at St. Joseph House of Hospitality on Saturdays for their dinner served at 4:30pm. Groups are welcomed to stay and serve the meal to the residents. Meals need to be prepared in an approved commercial kitchen. Groups are welcome to serve the meal.

Join our volunteer team that empowers students enrolled in our Gismondi Job Training Program to practice and improve their interview skills and confidence by providing a welcoming and supportive space. Family Christmas Plan Volunteer

Catholic Charities is looking for an individual to lead our Family Christmas Plan program in Allegheny County. This individual will empower 15 to 20 families to develop an individualized plan for the holidays. This individual will meet weekly with families and review topics including budgeting, stress management, creating Christmas traditions and more.
