Students will provide a two-minute pitch on their identity, interests, and academic and/or career aspirations to a panel of volunteer judges. They'll end by answering the question: What do they hope to gain or learn from volunteers? Following student pitches, volunteers will answer questions about their career progression! If you are interested in sharing about your career with high schoolers, than this is an opportunity for you!
Volunteers will get to connect with local high school students helping them expand their network and opportunity. As part of an entrepreneurship education curriculum, students are exposed to professionals from the community who share about their career path, skillsets and networks.
IMPORTANT: This is an in person opportunity, inside a high school classroom or library. Volunteers are also expected to register through BUILD's internal volunteer registration system where they will receive a recorded training to prepare them for the event.
