Tee It Forward Community Event

First Tee – Pittsburgh is looking for volunteers to help make our annual Tee It Forward community celebration a success on Saturday, September 12 at the Bob O’Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park.

Tee It Forward is a free, family-friendly event celebrating our youth participants, families, coaches, volunteers, donors, sponsors and community. Hundreds of guests join us for an afternoon of activities, food, entertainment and recognition of our young people.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • 📸 Photo Booth – Help guests use our interactive photo booth and create fun photos and GIFs
  • 🍿 Popcorn Stand – Make and serve fresh popcorn to event guests
  • 🍦 Ice Cream Cart – Help serve Isaly’s ice cream cones
  • Guest check-in
  • Golf games and activity stations
  • Food and refreshments
  • Basket raffle and 50/50
  • Event set-up and clean-up
  • General event assistance

No golf experience is necessary! We are looking for friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy interacting with people and helping create a fun and welcoming experience for youth and families.

Individuals and groups are welcome. This is a great opportunity for college and high school organizations, athletic teams, corporate groups, service organizations and anyone looking to complete community service or volunteer hours.

Volunteer shifts are available between 12:00–7:00 PM , including opportunities to help with event set-up, activities during the 3:00–6:00 PM celebration and clean-up afterward. Volunteers do not need to commit to the entire day.

Come spend a few hours with First Tee – Pittsburgh and help us create a memorable celebration for our kids, families and community!
